HTML Static WebPage

Technikum leśne w Miliczu

This week I finished the first draft of my home HTML Webpage. Thanks to the fact that it consists of several subpages, and each of them requires a different content layout, I have learned a lot. It is still a static HTML webpage, but fully responsive.

Until recently, every problem made me reluctant to continue learning. Memories of sleepless nights due to poorly displayed pages kept coming back. I asked myself if I really wanted to come back to it.

But thanks to the community, I realized that it doesn’t have to be the same now. Thanks to the internet and various social media, I can easily communicate with a powerful community that is willing to help in building HTML WebPage.

Besides, I made a habit that when something doesn’t work, you can always try to organize the code differently and it starts working. Sometimes I don’t understand why something works in this configuration and not in others, but at the moment it is important that it works. The time will come for full understanding.

After building HTML Static Page now I’ll start the React.JS course

I’m starting the React course next week, which will complement my knowledge of the WTF course. Theoretically, after completing this course, I should be able to implement all the ideas for HTML websites that I have in mind today. I estimate that it will take me until spring. In the meantime, I want to work on my homepage which is now only available on Github. If I add an interactive photo gallery to it, then I will transfer it to my server.

More than thirteen hours of work on the homepage this week, but it’s done and it’s ready. At the end of the work it turned out that GitHub reads paths to files with photos differently and for the last half an hour I was working on this problem, but finally, I managed and you can check it at:
